Hi there! I'm Yuk Ling : ) I'm from Singapore~
Travelling, music and photography. Things I love and that brought me to where I am today.
I bought my first camera when I headed to Canada on a school exchange programme. I've always loved looking at beautiful pictures, but from there, my love for making beautiful pictures continued to grow, and grow.
My latest overseas adventure was travelling and living in Australia on my own for 8 months on the Work and Holiday Visa. It was some of the best times I had and I loved documenting them @threebeanies through still and moving pictures. So many precious moments - meeting and working with people from all around the world, learning about their lives and culture, being absolutely spontaneous, exploring new places.
Being in a completely new environment, coupled with the resolution I made to take a photo a day helped me to appreciate the little things in life even more. When I had settled down there, many days I walked around the same neighbourhood, looking at the same things. But with my camera, I always found something new, something interesting and beautiful.
Some of the little things I love: Long (late night) walks, sunrises & sunsets, a sky of full stars. Good music, nature and wildflowers. Small happy moments, seeing little kids stuff maple leaves the size of their torso down their shirts and animals saying hi to each other.
Hiking, deep conversations, grocery shopping (don't underestimate how therapeutic it can be!!).
The feeling of being alive.
I think all these greatly shape the way I photograph and see things.

One of my dreams is to travel and photograph the world one day.
But for now, I'll enjoy the journey that's life, with my camera by my side.
